Sponsored Walk 2016
On 17th May 2016, all the staff of Cousins Dental Practice completed their sponsored walk for Alzheimer's Society.
Previous walks by the practice team have raised funds for Diabetes UK, The British Heart Foundation, Thames Valley And Chiltern Air Ambulance, Newbury District Care Trust and Cancer Research UK.
The 2016 route of around 13.5 miles took in the beautiful scenery along part of the Lambourn Valley Way, then turning up to Wickham for lunch then returning by Boxford and Bagnor. The weather was perfect for walking; Dry under foot and overhead! Two dogs joined us this year too.
We would like to thank everyone for their kind donations. To date we have raised £2063 for Alzheimer’s Society.
On 28th May 2016 Barry completed an endurance walk of 100 km completing this in 23 hours 35 minutes.
